What is nine percent?

Nine Percent was a Chinese boy group formed through the Chinese survival reality show "Idol Producer" in 2018. The group debuted on April 6, 2018, with their first EP "To the Nines." The group consisted of nine members: Cai Xukun (leader), Chen Linong, Fan Chengcheng, Justin Huang, Lin Yanjun, Zhu Zhengting, Wang Ziyi, Xiao Gui, and You Zhangjing.

Nine Percent quickly gained popularity in China, especially among the younger demographic. They released several successful singles and EPs, participated in various variety shows, and won several awards during their short-lived career.

Despite their initial success, Nine Percent officially disbanded on October 6, 2019, as the group was only intended to promote for a limited duration. The members have since pursued solo careers in music, acting, and other ventures, with some continuing to work together on collaborations and projects.
